Hello. We’re Anna and Rachel. We’re best friends and Ginger & Jive is our Austin-based full-service floral design workshop. Although our focus is weddings, we’re happy to provide our design services for whatever your event may be. With our unique untamed aesthetic and collaborative process we deliver custom florals that reflect your personal style and complement your event – whether it’s held in a church, a brewery, in front of a food truck, or in a field of wildflowers.
We work with you to create everything, from centerpieces to bouquets, aisle runners to dramatic hairpieces. If you’ve imagined something you’d like flowers to do at your event – sway in the breeze on outdoor tables, trail loosely over your hands, lightly graze your bridesmaids’ temples – we can do it.
We can’t wait to hear the details of your wildest floral dreams and make them a reality.
Although we’re based in Austin, we love to travel!

About Anna – Founder & Designer
For me, flowers and design are all tangled together. As a child, I spent a lot of time in the garden and developed a love for flowers – their beauty, scent and meanings. Happily, I’ve had the opportunity to live in amazing cities around the world – Shanghai, Washington D.C., New York City, and now Austin – that have influenced and inspired my aesthetic. I’ve always loved design, and after a foray into work more closely related to my university studies – Global Affairs – I realized that I was consistently thinking of floral elements or how a design would appear if transformed into a floral piece. I then made the decision to fuse my design aesthetic with equivalent floral knowledge by interning with two Austin-based florists. I am exceedingly lucky to be using my love of design and flowers to help create meaningful events for people. Two of my passions, reading and traveling, continually provide me with new ideas. In my off hours, I usually relax with my boyfriend and kittens, often baking up something delectable.
About Rachel – Founder & Manager
As someone who loves trend-setting design – Austin is the perfect place for me. I grew up in the area, studied Communication at St. Edwards University and continue to enjoy every aspect of the city – music, culture, art – which makes working on Austin events particularly enjoyable for me as I get to share some of my favorite lovely places. I’m an organized person with an appreciation for design and detail and I’m thrilled to be using these skills to help create amazing events. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband and our two dogs. If I’m left to my own devices, you’ll likely find me dabbling in design adventures around the house, or feeding my blog addiction with delicious tidbits on style, event planning and home design.
